Talking Interpretation @ the Amon Carter – 1.17.18

Thank you to the Amon Carter for being such fantastic hosts for our January 17, 2018 meeting on Interpretation.  We thought about Interpretation broadly — including working with docents, labels and in-gallery interpretives, and the meaning and purpose of outreach.

Teaching to All Abilities @ the DMA – 10.18.17

Here here for the DMA education team for getting us into the galleries! On Wednesday, October 18, 2017 we played with practice as we worked in groups to develop engagements for visitors of different ages and abilities.

First Session of dfwMER @ Crow Collection of Asian Art – 7.18.17

37 DFW art museum educators came out (on a leap of faith ) for the first meeting of dfwMER!  We thought about equity and inclusion with the Crow Collection, Border Crossers, and in the galleries.
